Taurus Kids Star Sign

The Taurus kid born under this star sign is usually well-built and emotional well balanced. These kids are very loving and affectionate and love to be cuddled. They are gentle in many ways but if you as a parent for some reason try to force them to do something they don’t want to do then you are in trouble because they are very stubborn. They will resist discipline if their common sense doesn’t agree with the order, the best way around that is to give them a cuddle and a kiss and a friendly tune of voice. They will never response to being forced against their will. However, this will help them later in life as they will never give up on the project they have already started; they will stick to a thing until it is finished. The Taurus kids are very sociable and fun loving little people who love to play with other kids.

Good Books for Kids That Are Advanced Can Help Challenge Them

Do you have an advanced child who is needing a challenge? Sometimes keeping them challenged is the hardest part of dealing with them. Many schools have special classes for the children with learning difficulties, but for the advanced child there is not much help. And sometimes that is manifested through behavior problems. So what are the parents to do?

If there are not special classes available, you will need to provide the challenge yourself. Give them good books for kids that are advanced, and discuss them together after they read. Give them puzzles, both to put together physically, and mental ones. Include thoughts or questions that make them think analytically. Give them memory work, such as poetry, Scriptures, or famous speeches. Enroll them in extracurricular activities after school. They may need some physical exertion to help balance them out. Martial arts, dance, gymnastics, sports are all good options for that.

Basically, what you need to do is not let them have a lot of extra free time. All kids tend to get into trouble with free time, and for the advanced child it can be even worse, especially if they are not self-motivated toward constructive activities.

You Too Can Write Movies Scripts

If you love to write and you love movies, you might want to consider learning how to write movie scripts. If you’ve got a background in another style of writing, like for example you know how to write a script for a play, then the transition will be easier for you. You don’t need this kind of background though, you just need to know how writing a movie script is different from writing a regular story.

First off, like a normal story, you’re idea has to be amazing. If it isn’t don’t bother writing it. It should also have elements that will keep a movie audience captivated. Sometimes great stories have to modified drastically to be paletable for the movie going crowd.

Much like a story has an outline, so to does a movie script. In script writing this outline is called a treatment. This is a general timeline and some very basic story points for your script, and it’s often used for marketing purposes.

In order to ensure that your script is properly formatted, you can use templates for Word, or you can buy script writing software. The software is definitely the easiest way to go, but it can be pretty expensive at over a hundred dollars. It will essentially do all the work for you though, except of course, the actual writing.

Once you do get to the actual writing try to picture the movie in your mind as you write it. If you are a huge movie fan this shouldn’t be hard. If you aren’t a huge movie fan, then why would you even want to know how to write a movie script?

There it is. It’s a pretty simple process. The most difficult and ellusive part is actually having the writing chops to construct a script that will sell and have appeal, but this can not really be taught.

What is a Good Way to Get My Child to Enjoy Reading?

There are many ways one can go about helping their child start to enjoy reading by themselves. Personalized children’s books really worked wonders in helping our child take an interest in reading and learning. Before we stumbled upon these personalized children’s books, we had struggled to find books that our children enjoyed. They enjoyed watching popular movies that are based on children’s books, but had little interest in sitting down and actually reading the book. We knew we had to do something to change that so they did not fall behind in their reading and comprehension skills. A friend of ours showed us these personalized books that they had gotten as gift. They were really impressed with how quickly their children took to reading. We decided it could not hurt to give them a shot ourselves. The worst that could happen is that we wasted some money on trying to help our children learn to read. This was a risk we were willing to take and it paid off because of children really enjoyed the books and wanted more the second they were finished with them.
